This weekend we have twenty-one of our club members attend the AbraCORNdabra magic convention in Des Moines, Iowa.
As mentioned in a previous post, conventions are one of our attempts to create small groups throughout the club’s programming.
About two days prior to the convention, a group text will be established for staying in touch with each other during the convention – letting each other know of the location for our traditional Friday night club-only pizza party as well as cool things any of us might discover at the convention from lecture ideas to dealer room goodies.
We believe this technology component adds to the camaraderie for all.
