Marketing: Super Saturdays

Any club that has a Junior Magician program will identify with the fact that as participants age out keeping that class filled with newcomers is an on-going challenge.

We have begun offering Super Saturday three-hour magic workshops to parochial schools in our area with performances for the parents as they come to pick up their children.

We use components from our Magic That Matures curriculum available for your club at no cost HERE.

Our hope is that it not only gives us opportunity to find new students to invite to our on-going junior magician programming but also a chance to give some of our members a chance to try their hand at teaching magic to children without more than a three-hour commitment on a Saturday – possibly identifying new additions for our young magicians’ leadership team.

You can see below the flier that goes home with each student in a partnering school.

You can read more about this initiative in the middle of this webpage: https://theomahamagicalsociety.org/schools

Postscript: One of our greatest aha moments has been the validation that having a show for the parents at the end of the class provides not only a goal that helps keep the students focused but also a chance for our Junior Magicians’ Leadership Team to meet parents who we know are key in the gaining and maintaining of new students in our on-going programming.
