Marketing: Library Donation and Brand Alignment

Here’s where five years ago we first tested the theory that aligning our club’s brand with larger more established brands in our area would strengthen our own brand through association.

The club had a library of 1200 magic books that had outgrown every club member’s home (yet alone the patience of a spouse when members would come to visit the library).

Click HERE to see how we aligned ourselves with the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s Rare Book Division and thereby not only had our entire library digitally catalogued online by their staff but also enjoyed a wonderful high visibility reception for the library’s largest donors at the unveiling of the collection.

Since then we have proceeded to align our club’s name with Boys Town, The University of Nebraska Medical Center, and Children’s Hospital. The success of these partnerships means we’ll continue to pursue this strategy going forward.
