Meeting Theme: Impromptu Magic

• We had a place setting at each of four or five tables with a host or hostess at each table selected for their knowledge of magic and ability to let others contribute to the discussion.

• As usual, the event was divided into three twenty-minute chunks with the first twenty minutes focused on each table generating as many tricks as possible from the place setting (in a quasi-competitive atmosphere between tables for the most tricks generated); the second twenty minutes was spent refining a routine that someone(s) from the group will present to the room; with the third twenty minute section having the table teams presenting their routines to the room (to thunderous applause).
