Graphic Leadership: Upset

Rational Emotive Therapy teaches that I don’t get upset nor does someone make me upset nor upset me.

The accurate way to say it is I upset myself. Once I begin using that phrase and accepting responsibility for being upset, I can then begin to ask What did I think in that situation to upset myself?

Only by beginning at that spot of taking 100% of personal responsibility for my thoughts (that trigger my emotions) can I hope to manage my reactions to the world around me.
