There’s no substitute for a leader to remain in reality.  Elsewhere you can read about The Room Of Reality.  Here I introduce you to The Line Of Reality.  When a leader walks the line of reality s/he has a sober estimate of who s/he is.  S/he neither thinks more highly nor less worthy than reality dictates.

Whether a leader enters the realm of grandiose thinking or self-loathing thoughts, a loss of perspective is inevitable.

As you can tell for some of the psychologically clinical terms used on this poster, it was presented by one of my long-time psychologist mentors.  Only as we continue to walk on the line of reality as leaders can we hope to lead our followers to stay on the line for their own good too.
