It doesn’t take long for a leader to understand that there are two basic types of people in the world. There are those who in a relationship give more emotional energy than they get from you.
There are also those who take more emotional energy from you than they give.
A leader knows without a doubt into which category each of his/her relationships falls.
If too many takers are on the leader’s relationship list, energy depletes quickly. Whereas by mixing in a sufficient number of givers the finite energy of the leader can actually be replenished throughout the course of a day.
