A leader who desires to remain effective handles trust with the respect it deserves.
Considering the fragility of trust and its indispensability if anyone is to follow your lead the leader is diligent to:
1. Act with full integrity – including not only the avoiding of falsehoods but also half truths too; and
2. Quickly apologizing and seeking forgiveness when #1 has not been followed in actuality or perception for whatever reason.
The commodity of trust is just that crucial to a leader’s success.
