Graphic Leadership: A Replacement For Worry

poster-worrying

No one less than Winston Churchill (who had more than a little to worry about during World War II) said, “Let our advance worrying become advance thinking and planning.”

He knew that when we worry about something outside of our control (and what else do we worry about?), we are really not worrying about whether or not that fearful situation will occur but rather that we couldn’t handle it if it did happen.  Developing a plan and strategy for what we would do if it did happen will occupy our thoughts with much more productive activity.

See the posters on Plan B, What Do I Control?, Confidence, A Partial Cure For Anxiety, Effective Goal Setting, Confident, The Nature Of Anxiety, and The Origin Of Anger for more on this important leadership topic.
