Wisdom for generations has said “Don’t put all your eggs into one basket.” From previous posters we also know that we truly don’t fear those things over which we have no control. Rather we fear not being able to handle those things over which we have no control (if they were to actually happen to us).
Hence the need for more than one plan at any given time. For me to manage my fears I need to have a plan for if it works successfully and other plans for contingencies that might occur.
Knowing that I have those other plans helps the leader sleep better at night.
