When one begins to pursue success, there’s a trap awaiting discovery. Many people purchase things in order to help them feel successful. If they’re wearing the right clothes, driving the right car, living in the right neighborhood, they feel successful. That’s the trap.
There’s just never enough things to help one feel successful. A person may continue to go deeper and deeper and deeper in debt to meet a need for success craving to be met (and can only be met on the inside first).
When I purchase things because I have become successful then I have the horse in front of the cart. In your pursuit of success, watch out for this trap.
